DIY Hanging Scroll Picture Frame
I have been inspired by the beautiful scroll wall hangings that depict a series of objects like different plants or antlers. I have seen feathers and other items you would find in nature.
Well, I decided to make my own. Here is my version....................A very in expensive one!
I envision the photo saying "does this thermostat make my but look big?"
I found this beautiful photo of a fern depicting color, and life at a resale shop. It was screaming to be rescued.
Written on the back it says Red Wood State Park 1978. I love to think about the home this photo once lived in and who may have took the picture.
The picture was in an old gold frame. The glass was cracked. It did not do the photo justice, it did not celebrate it's color and beauty.
I removed the photo and wiped it down.
I had some old barn wood laying around. I measured and cut to size.
I used a staple gun to adhere the photo to the wood.
At the top I drilled two holes and attached twine to create a hanger.
...............and voila' I have a Hanging Scroll Picture Frame.
I love how it turned out!
Saving one photo at a time, decorating, creating beautiful spaces.
