DIY Decorative Garland Ideas for Anytime of the Year.....

I wanted to get this post out today because I will be busy eating turkey on Thursday.

All but one of these garlands were hand made.(2nd from the top) I have been busy making garlands for the holidays, but why limit yourself to displaying these items for only a few months. Why not keep them up year round, displaying them decoratively in your home.

Here are a few ways I like to decorate with them year round.

Hang from your towel ring as a means to add a little texture.

The garland below is my only store bought garland. It runs on batteries and lights up. A great way to accent the monthly calendar.

Wrap your garland around a stack of books.

Use as a means to decorate your mantel for the holidays. With neutral colored garland you can leave it up year round.

Some of these were super easy to make and others took a little longer. I enjoy moving them around to different locations and trying them in new places.
